Scottish Textiles run a Brand Strategy training course to help strengthen the Textile manufacturing industry.

Branding is the current buzz word these days. It is part of the powerful marketing tool that for example has persuaded Scottish people to pay for stale water instead of drinking fresh Scottish water from a tap!

ERIBÉ knitwear design, based in Galashiels, has successfully completed a Brand Strategy Development programme supported by the Scottish Textiles team at Scottish Textiles and ran by Brilliant Red Consulting. Rosemary Eribe said “I and my colleagues have gained so much by completing this course. We are now really enthusiastic to try out our new found knowledge. Brilliant Red Consulting really are brilliant”

Interestingly another brilliant company, also based in the Borders: Brilliant White Design is helping with the presentation of the ERIBÉ logo and sales materials.

Some of this BRILLIANCE seems to have already had a knock on affect because ERIBÉ Knitwear has just had a two page photos and story feature in a leading Japanese fashion magazine called Figaro. This has already led to new Japanese customers visiting the ERIBÉ studio in Galashiels.
