Michael James Hunter’s international recognition as a glass artist continues to grow with his work currently included in an exhibition at the Bergstrom Mahler Museum Wisconsin USA.

The exhibition entitled Big Ideas, Small Packages and Magnificent Glass under 20 inches celebrates 50 years of the museum being open to the public. The exhibition opened s 1st November 2008 and runs until until February 22nd 2009.

This is the first time Michael Hunter’s work has been on exhibition within the USA.

Along side the exhibition is a series of pictures taken earlier in 2008 of Michael  investigating and exploring the possibilities and boundaries of a paperweight  whilst  demonstrating  at the  Creative Glass Centre Of America to an audience of curators, artists , dealers and collectors. 

Michael who feels that the more skills he masters the more there is to explore comments, ‘As an artist it is important to me to continue to push the boundaries of this versatile medium’.
