Johnston’s Cashmere is one of the few remaining completely vertical textile mills remaining in the UK.  The focus of the business is the manufacture and retail of cashmere and fine woollen products.  Manufacturing is done on two sites.  Woven products are produced in Elgin, Morayshire and Knitted Products are produced in Hawick, Scottish Borders.  The company also operates several retail shops the largest of which is based in Elgin.
 
Johnston’s Cashmere has a long established history in exporting and nearly half of all goods sold go abroad.  The main markets are US, Europe & Japan but exports are made to numerous other countries around the world.
