 | It is almost impossible to imagine what it must be like to own nothing apart from the clothes you stand up in but that is exactly what happened to many thousands as a result of recent earthquake in Japan. On Saturday Borders folk gathered in Kelso to raise funds to aid the victims.

 | Shorts of Hawick recently opened a Boutique store at the factory under their “Love Cashmere” label. This compliments the “Love Cashmere” E- commerce site (www.lovecashmere.com) which is growing more successful all the time. Love Cashmere is on course to achieve 1st year targets in terms of sales and turnover. The feedback on the products and branding has been 100% positive and the objective is to grow the label into a significant (33%) part of the business.
